Thanksgiving is one of our absolute favorite times of the year and what better way to celebrate than by hosting the ultimate Southern California Friendsgiving?
The idea occurred to us one night as we were working together and looking around the living room (yes, we’re roommates too!) So often, we see gorgeous inspiration images of elaborately set tables but think – there’s NO way someone could just whip this up without spending 1.) tons of $$ and 2.) needing tons of different items. Living ten minutes from the ocean we mused: let’s put together a no-fuss, no-frills tablescape anyone can easily recreate and do it beach-side using items we already own. Piecing together this light and airy Friendsgiving table was so personal and so much fun. We even employed our favorite calligrapher, Chelsea from Honeycomb Collective, to hand-write the punny sayings 😉 All images were shot by our fave Katelin Wallace and items sourced are from Target, World Market, and Crate & Barrel!
Start with a good basic white linen and layer in a loose, organic table runner. We scored this oh-so-soft chambray fabric from Jo-Ann’s and used chargers and plates we already had to make everything come to life. Hope you enjoy and get inspired to make your Friendsgiving or Thanksgiving an effortless table of beauty!
Xx,
